A DC Corrections Information Council inspection report (2016) documented concerns raised by DC residents at the facility, including "unprofessional staff during visitation, cost of phone calls, inability to contact family member at another facility, and denial of email access."
An Indeed employee review noted: "The job was ok, the people were fine that I worked for but it was the environment and disrespect that was so stressful."
Many residents at the camp serve sentences for white-collar crimes. The camp offers limited vocational programming, with Welding being the primary trade training available.
